How to apply
Regular students at the state universities in Munich can apply, but not guest auditors or exchange students. You must not live within the Munich S-Bahn area (the information sheet names exceptions) and you must prove need. There is no deadline. You send all documents together by post or hand them in in person, and email is not possible. About 2 months later, an admissions committee of residents reviews complete applications, looking among other things at involvement, financial circumstances and social need. If you succeed, you go on the waiting list and get an offer by email when a room falls free and it is your turn. The average wait is 2 semesters.

How to apply
According to the house rules, the hall is meant to serve in particular students of the Catholic faith who are less well off. Admission does not depend on religion or on a particular faculty, and priority goes to students of the Hochschule München, Pasing campus. You email the application form and a copy of your ID card, and you can apply at any time. An admissions committee of resident students and the hall management decides who gets a free room. You move in at the start of a semester.

How to apply
The hall takes students of the Munich universities and the Hochschule für Philosophie, with priority for the university and the TU. Doctoral students, interns and students of other institutions have no chance of a place. The hall does not choose strictly in order of application but by urgency and by how well you fit into the house: the distance between your home and your place of study, preferably the Catholic religion and upbringing, and above all social commitment, plus 2 written references. You apply to the hall management by 3 June (winter semester) or 10 January (summer semester), and you hear by the middle of February or the middle of July. If you are only put on the reserve list, you get in touch before the next deadline so that your application stays active.

There is no maximum stay as long as you hold a valid certificate of enrolment from a state-recognised university in Munich. The deposit is €300 and is refunded after you have moved out properly.
How to apply
You apply online with a form. At least 1 admission session takes place each semester, and more if rooms are free. A draw decides who may come to the session, and if you are not drawn, you get no reply. At the session you have 10 talks of about 10 minutes each with residents, who then decide whether you are admitted for good. You hand in your application again after every session. The dates are published on the website at least 10 weeks ahead, and you can apply at any time. Rooms that fall free at short notice are listed on WG-Gesucht.
